Their collective wedding was held in the heart of the hospital campus that became a romantic forest on the night of February 20.
Twenty couples, with brides and grooms comprising doctors and nurses of the Military Hospital 175, had missed their planned wedding ceremonies because of the pandemic.
The stage featured dozens of antique porcelain roots and the aisles were lined with heather flowers and yellow foliage. The wedding program included ao dai performances, stories from doctors and nurses working in epidemic areas and wedding dress performances of the couples.
Colonel Tran Quoc Viet, Deputy Director of Military Hospital 175, said that many young doctors and nurses had joined the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic over the last two years instead of holding their wedding ceremonies and enjoying their honeymoons.
The hospital leaders decided to organize a group wedding to appreciate their contributions.
