Vietnam confirms national golf team for SEA Games 31

The men's team comprises Nguyen Anh Minh, Le Khanh Hung and Nguyen Bao Long. The four female players are Doan Xuan Khue Minh, Pham Thi Yen Vi, Le Thi Thanh Thuy and Le Chuc An.

This list was concluded based on the final selection round from March 1 to 4, which featured 22 golfers. Seven dropped out, four with Covid-19 and three for personal reasons.

VGA will host a play-off round on March 19 at Heron Lake Golf Course to choose two more members for the men’s team.

Heron Lake will also be the venue for all SEA Games 31 golf matches.

VGA is in charge of all selection activities, coaching and managing the national team at SEA Games 31.

The pre-qualification process ended in October. In order to be selected, golfers must achieve a handicap of 3.0 for men and 7.0 for women on the national golf system Vhandicap. The second round was hosted in January.
