Tran Hong Kien, a player for Viettel FC U17 team, was injured after a failed attempt to recreate the trademark celebration of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The final of the national U17 championship on Tuesday between Viettel and Hong Linh Ha Tinh attracted great deal of attention on social media with the highlight of Kien's incident.

When Kien scored for Viettel in the 61st minute, he did the iconic celebration of Cristiano Ronaldo, performing a mid-air pirouette before shouting "siu" (which is Spanish for yes) upon landing. However, the landing was not good and Kien lay down in pain.

After trying to get up and continue playing, Kien eventually had to leave the field on a stretcher due to the injury. Before Kien, Nguyen Cong Phuong did the "siu" celebration after scoring in the 5th minute but did not have a problem.

The video of Kien's failed celebration quickly went viral on social media as it was shared across multiple platforms.

Another highlight of the game was Nguyen Hoang Khanh, who did a "baby bump" celebration with the football beneath his shirt while sucking his thumb like a baby, after scoring the opener for Viettel.

This type of celebration is common in football when a player wants to celebrate the pregnancy of his partner. However, the questionable thing here is that Khanh is only 17, not a common age to be a father. Khanh later said that he dedicated the goal to his mother, who was about to give birth.

The final ended with Viettel cruising past Ha Tinh with four goals after just 61 minutes. Ha Tinh players only got two goals back and watched Viettel lift the trophy.
