Appearing in an ao dai and a Vietnamese traditional conical hat, the beauty queen, who is also active as a singer, landed in HCMC’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport Tuesday. She was welcomed by hundreds of local fans.
"I didn’t expect to be welcomed by this many people," Waraha said. "I felt touched and grateful."
She spent time taking photos with fans before going to her hotel.
Waraha is set to hold her first-ever concert in HCMC on Oct. 28 at Phu Tho Indoors Stadium. The event’s ticket prices range between VND667,000-VND6.7 million ($27-$273).
Prior to her concert, Waraha will also perform at the 2023 Miss Grand International contest’s final night on Oct. 25 at the same venue.
She will travel to the Philippines and Cambodia following her performances in Vietnam.
