Event organizers told the press that the group is expected to perform their iconic hits, including "This Love," "Moves Like Jagger," "Makes Me Wonder," "One More Night," and "Sugar" during their first-ever show in Vietnam at the Phu Quoc United Center recreational complex.
The show’s seat map is set to be released soon, according to organizers, while tickets for the festival go on sale at 8 p.m. on Nov. 2.
Many fans in Vietnam and other Asian countries have shown their excitement following the news, organizers said.
Maroon 5 was formed in 1994 when original members Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, and Ryan Dusick were in high school. Madden and Dusick were then replaced by James Valentine, Matt Flynn, PJ Morton, and Sam Farrar, who now round-out the current line-up.
The group has received three Grammy awards to date, and they have sold more than 135 million records throughout their career, becoming one of the globe’s best-selling music artists. Their song "Move Like Jagger" was the second most-downloaded song of all time as of January 2023.
The 8Wonder Winter Festival will take place from Oct. 30 to Jan. 7, 2024.
