Hue's famous abandoned dragon-themed Thuy Tien Water Park serves as the main setting for Italian electronic dance music group Meduza's video 'Bad Memories.'

The MV, which has an eerie feel, has raked in more than 1.8 million YouTube views since it was uploaded on July 22.

It starts with a scene of the park's dragon statue shot from overhead and color corrected in post-production to give the whole thing a spooky vibe.

The theme park appears repeatedly, with scenes of people exploring the jungle of graffiti-covered waterslides, shattered aquariums and murky pools.

The park is beside Thuy Tien Lake, five miles outside Huong Thuy in Hue, the former imperial capital in central Vietnam.

It opened in 2004 but was quickly closed down, and its desolate, creepy image has become a tourist attraction and made it a popular spot to take photographs.

With its ghostlike scenes, it has been featured in many international artists' MVs, including 'Warpaint' by Indonesian singer-songwriter NIKI and 'We Must Love' by South Korean group ONF.

Meduza is a three-member band comprised of Luca de Gregorio, Mattia Vitale and Simone Giani.

They are best known for their 2019 smash hit 'Piece of Your Heart' which has over 158 million YouTube views. It reached number two on the UK Singles Chart and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording.
