Blackpink Lisa's Weibo account deactivated

According to Chinese news site Sohu, those trying to access the singer’s Weibo account get a message saying: "This account has been reported for violations of the laws and Weibo’s regulations. You cannot access it at the moment."

Actresses Angelababy and Jenny Zhang, who allegedly attended Lisa’s shows as spectators, have been suffering from similar issues. Users get a pop-up notification when they try to follow either of the actresses’ accounts on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok,which says: "This account violates the platform’s regulations."

Many believe this is the result of the actresses’ attendances at Lisa’s shows. According to insiders, by doing so, they allegedly violated Chinese law, which states that entertainment industry workers are banned from organizing, attending, or promoting sexually related activities. Stripping is classified as such in China.

Both actresses have not been seen in public since the news of them showing up at the cabaret broke weeks ago.

Lisa performed for three nights at the Crazy Horse Paris on September 28-30. All shows were limited to people aged over 16 only, and it is reported that the artist partially stripped during her performances.

The Blackpink star suffered public criticism for setting a bad example for her fans, many of whom are minors, after news about her "raunchy" performances at the venue emerged.

Born Lalisa Manoban in Thailand, Lisa, 26, made her debut with the South Korean girl group Blackpink in 2016. She launched a simultaneous solo career in 2021.

The star has also established her name in the fashion industry as a global ambassador for various luxury brands, including Celine and Bulgari.

Her soaring music career has made her the first solo K-pop artist to have a song reach 1 billion streams on Spotify with "Money."
