Cholimex Food reaped revenue of VND3.2 trillion ($137.17 million) and a pre-tax profit of VND277 billion last year, the highest levels reached since its establishment in 1983.

The revenue of mainly came from the sale of chili sauce, ketchup, fish sauce and soy sauce, with the domestic market contributing 70%. The rest came from exports to Europe, America and Japan.

By the end of last year, the company had total assets of more than VND1.4 trillion.

In early March, the company announced it would spend more than VND40 billion to advance cash dividends at a rate of 50%, meaning that for each share owned, shareholders will receive VND5,000. This is the fourth year in a row that the company has maintained this dividend level.

The company's share (CMF) rose 15% Wednesday to VND179,000, ranking it third in terms of market price at the Unlisted Public Companies Market.
