South Korean actor Lee Jae Wook dating singer Karina of Aespa

On Feb. 27 South Korean news outlet Dispatch published photos capturing actor Lee Jae Wook and singer Karina during a night out on the town and reported that the pair has been dating since Milan Fashion Week in January.

A source said the couple fell in love with each other at first sight.

Upon returning to South Korea, Karina has been making time for dates, and the couple usually spends time together in Lee Jae Wook’s neighborhood.

Lee Jae Wook’s agency CJes Studios mentioned the topic on Feb. 27 in a statement that read: "The two are currently in the process of getting to know each other. As this concerns the actor's personal life, we kindly request that you regard it with warmth and respect while he continues his filming commitments."

Karina’s agency SM Entertainment similarly reported that "Karina and Lee Jae Wook are getting to know each other."

Lee Jae Wook, 26, has been active in entertainment industry since 2018 as an actor and model. He had roles in 2019 television series "Search: WWW" and "Extraordinary You", as well as the 2019 film "The Battle of Jangsari", the 2020 television series "When the Weather Is Fine" and the 2022 television series "Alchemy of Souls."

Karina, 24, debuted in November 2020 as a dancer, vocalist and leader of Aespa, one of the world’s most successful South Korean girl groups. Their hits include "Black Mamba," "Next Level" and "Savage."

She is known for having the most fans in the group thanks to her appearance and charisma. According to South Korean news outlet Naver, Karina has been said to look as though "her face could have been computer-generated."
