After their wedding, one of the most exquisite weddings in decades, Prince Abdul Mateen of Brunei and his wife Anisha Rosnah have resumed their regular routine, indulging in their favorite pastime - playing polo.

Recently, Mateen, renowned for his polo skills and having represented Brunei in the 2017 and 2019 South East Asian Games, competed once more with the national team of Brunei.

A video was shared showcasing the team's preparation for an international match at the All Asia Cup. The team recently beat the Philippines 9.5 to 4 in an Asia Cup fixture.

Prince Mateen, 32, was named among Asia’s most eligible bachelors by Tatler in 2016.

He is the fourth son and tenth child of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, one of the world’s richest royals with an estimated net worth of nearly 28 billion, evidenced by his several jets, hundreds of Rolls Royces and Ferraris, and a palace with 1,700 rooms, according to Time.

Prince Mateen married Yang Mulia Anisha Rosnah, a 29-year-old University of Bath graduate and entrepreneur, in a lavish ceremony from Jan. 7-16, attended by 5,000 guests, including international royalty and dignitaries.

Her grandfather Pehin Dato Isa is the Sultan of Brunei’s special advisor and held important government positions in the 1960s and 1970s.

Her brother Danial Deen Isa-Kalebic is a close friend of Prince Mateen, and her sister-in-law Janetira Attaskulchai Deen is part of Thailand’s Betagen yogurt empire.

The couple’s first public appearance post-marriage was at Leicester Football Club president Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha’s wedding on Jan. 28.
