Sources familiar with the couple have disclosed to NgoiSao their plans for two wedding celebrations: one at a soccer field close to Hai’s home in Hanoi’s Dong Anh district on March 28 and a second in the central part of the capital on April 6.

The couple conducted their engagement ceremony on Jan. 1.

Hai has been diligently juggling his professional football commitments and his wedding plans. Together with Huyen, he had already completed their wedding photoshoot before joining the national team on Thursday for two impending matches against Indonesia in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers on March 21 and March 26.

At 27, Hai has been acclaimed for his sporting triumphs, including securing the gold medal at the SEA Games 2019, the 2018 AFF Cup victory, and aiding in Vietnam’s distinguished efforts in the 2021 World Cup qualifiers.

Huyen, 24, has established herself as an online influencer and entrepreneur, amassing more than 620,000 TikTok followers.

The duo has opted for a discreet presence online by seldom posting photographs of one another on social media since they started dating in 2021.

In a prior interview, Hai conceded that his forthcoming marriage has instilled numerous positive shifts in his footballing performance.
