Departing along with his family from their residence in the capital’s Dong Anh district at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, Hai, elegantly attired in a gray suit, made his way to his bride’s dwelling in a Rolls-Royce Phantom series 2. This model of luxury was also chosen by defender Doan Van Hau, a teammate of Hai on the national team, for his wedding to Doan Hai My in November last year.
Upon reaching Huyen’s residence in the Son Tay district of Hanoi at approximately 12 p.m., the duo dedicated almost an hour to fulfill the wedding customs before they, hand in hand, entered the car to head back to Hai’s home.

A celebratory reception for the couple is planned at a football field near Hai’s abode on the same day. The festivity is poised to host 1,200 guests, who are welcomed from 4:30 p.m. onwards.
The couple has also arranged for a subsequent festivity on April 6 at JW Marriott, a prestigious five-star hotel in Hanoi’s Nam Tu Liem district, famed for accommodating notable global figures such as former U.S. President Barack Obama, U.S. President Joe Biden, and Xi Jinping, the General Secretary and President of the Chinese Party, during their visits to Vietnam.
This gathering is set to feature an array of celebrities from Vietnam’s football and entertainment circles.

At 27, Hai is acclaimed for his athletic achievements, which include clinching a gold medal at the SEA Games 2019, triumphing in the 2018 AFF Cup, and contributing significantly to Vietnam’s laudable performance in the 2021 World Cup qualifiers.
Alongside his teammates, he has recently completed two matches against Indonesia as part of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, held on March 21 and 26.
Huyen, 24, has made a name for herself as a leading digital influencer and businesswoman, gathering over 628,000 followers on TikTok.
Since they started in 2021, the couple has maintained a low-key online presence, rarely divulging their personal moments on social media.
Hai shared in a prior media interaction his optimism that entering into matrimony would prompt several beneficial changes in his footballing career.
