As reported by Sohu, the nuptials of Man and her boyfriend Jason took place on March 14 at the Crowne Plaza in Hong Kong’s Kowloon East neighborhood, featuring 23 banquet tables.
For their significant day, the couple donned traditional outfits, ornately decorated with motifs of dragons, phoenixes, and peonies. The two families presented the newlyweds with an assortment of gold jewelry, including necklaces and bracelets, alongside pearl earrings, as symbols of their wishes for the couple’s enduring joy together.
Captured in the photographs from the occasion, Man is prominently featured wearing eight sets of dragon and phoenix themed gold bangles and three gold necklaces shaped like pigs.
The festivities were segmented into two distinct parts: a conventional bride-receiving ceremony in the morning, followed by a lavish wedding reception in the evening. Many of Jason’s relatives and acquaintances made the journey from Canada to Hong Kong to partake in the festivities. Other guests included numerous personalities from the entertainment industry in Hong Kong.
The aesthetic of the wedding reception was characterized by a dominant use of orange, white, and pink floral arrangements. Photographs capturing moments from the couple’s journey were prominently displayed all around the event space. Over the course of the event, the bride showcased three distinct gowns.
Man, 42, was a finalist in the Miss Hong Kong 2010 competition, though she did not clinch any titles.
She then made a shift in her career path to adult film acting, working under the guidance of Wong Jing, a director famed for his provocative works in Hong Kong cinema.
Jason, who hails from Canada, currently does not have a professional involvement in the entertainment industry.
The couple got engaged in February after a three-year relationship.
