"A longtime fan of Crazy Horse Paris, Lisa knocked on the doors of the famous cabaret to realize her dream of joining the legendary cast of dancers," stated Crazy Horse Paris on its website.

The cabaret then applauded Lisa for her electrifying performances in September last year, acknowledging that these shows made a lasting impact globally on both audiences and her fans.

It also expressed gratitude to celebrities who supported Lisa’s shows, including Blackpink’s Rosé, Jisoo, and Jennie, and other artists like Rosalia, Tyga, Cindy Mello, Bryan Yambao, Christian Louboutin, Austin Butler, and Kaia.

Lisa faced controversy for her performances at Crazy Horse Paris on Sep. 28, 29, and 30, 2023, which included partial stripping. In China, where stripping is considered a "sexually related activity" and banned by law, this sparked significant backlash. As a result of the controversy, luxury brands Bulgari and Celine removed her photos from their Weibo accounts in November of the same year.

Her performances were also criticized for possibly setting a negative example for her younger fans.

Lisa, 27, made her debut with the South Korean girl group Blackpink in 2016. She launched a simultaneous solo career in 2021.

Her music career has been marked by numerous notable achievements, including becoming the first solo K-pop artist to have a song that reached 1 billion streams on Spotify.

The star also established her name in the fashion industry as a global ambassador for various luxury brands, including Bulgari and Celine.
