According to Sinchew, a reporter accompanied the team of five people sent by Wang. The team requested to meet Hsu, but she refused. They waited for half an hour before leaving.

In a subsequent interview with the media, Wang apologized to the public for causing a commotion and wasting their time. He also revealed that he had not been in contact with his ex-wife for several months and that Hsu had prevented him from seeing their children. As a result, he felt compelled to send a lawyer and nanny to her house to pick up the children.

Hsu, 48, gained recognition for her roles in TV series such as "Meteor Garden," "Mars," and "Summer’s Desire."

The actress and Wang, 43, got married in 2011 and separated in 2021.

Hsu remarried her ex-boyfriend DJ Koo, 55, three months after her separation from Wang. DJ Koo has since moved to Taiwan to live with Hsu and her children.

Last year, Hsu initiated legal proceedings against Wang and his mother, businesswoman Zhang Lan, for defamation and disclosing her personal information. The former spouses have been engaged in a legal dispute ever since.

The actress also accused Wang of multiple infidelities and abusive behavior during her pregnancy earlier this year.
