The World Trade Center Binh Duong New City and Coex will cooperate to host smart factory and logistics automation exhibitions, and to execute manufacturing industry innovation programs in Vietnam.

The MOU aims to promote collaboration to develop and expand related industry exchange programs between Vietnam and Korea, including conferences, trade promotions, and seminars.

The two parties agreed to cooperate to open Automation World Vietnam 2024 at the WTC Binh Duong New City EXPO (WTC EXPO) in September next year.

Huynh Dinh Thai Linh, CEO of WTC BDNC, said: "We are delighted to support the development of the Vietnamese manufacturing industry through this collaboration. This is an important step towards realizing our vision of building Binh Duong into an innovation and technology hub in the manufacturing industry."

Binh Duong Province, where WTC BDNC is located, is one of the Southern Key Economic Regions (SKER) of Vietnam. The province has been attracting foreign investment, with over 4,000 FDI projects worth nearly US$40 billion to date. It also boasts the highest per-capita monthly incomes in Vietnam, making it an attractive location for talents.

With 30 large-scale industrial complexes already in operation, the province has an ideal industrial ecosystem to support the implementation of the MOU.
