Nam Long breaks ground on 671 EHomes social housing units in Can Tho

The groundbreaking ceremony for 671 EHomeS apartments was attended by representatives from the local government, the Can Tho Department of Construction, Nam Long as the project developer, and Nam Khang as the general contractor.

In alignment with the government's initiative, Nam Long aims to develop 60,000 social housing units by 2030, with Can Tho as a key location. EHomeS is a line of affordable housing products designed around the principles of 3S (saving, smart, social). This brand is recognized for its significant social impact as it addresses the essential needs of a broad segment of Vietnam's population. So far, EHomeS has been expanded to about 5,000 apartments, successfully handed over to residents.

Nam Long has invested in 1,788 apartments at EHomeS in Can Tho. Of these, 1,117 units have been completed and handed over on schedule, receiving official approval for use from the Department of Construction. The new development phase comprises four apartment blocks, featuring 671 units, which are expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2026.

The new units are being built within the 43.8 ha Nam Long II Central Lake integrated township. Residents will have access to a full range of urban amenities, including a central lakeside park, sports and recreational areas, and more. Additionally, with a strong focus on sustainable development, Nam Long II Central Lake regularly hosts community programs aimed at improving residents' quality of life. This is a major advantage of EHomeS Can Tho and one that few social housing projects can offer.

With 33 years of development experience, Nam Long has built a strong presence in Can Tho through key urban projects, including the 23-hectare Nam Long Can Tho 1 (2002), the 16-hectare Nam Long Hong Phat (2016), and the 43-hectare Nam Long II Central Lake.
