Gasoline prices on Thursday rose to the highest since Oct. 10, driven by an increase in global fuel rates.

The popular fuel RON95 went up 1.30% to VND21,010 (US$0.83) per liter.

Biofuel E5 RON92 gained 1.89% to VND20,430.

Diesel increased by 2.61% to VND19,240.

Regulators said that fuel prices in the last seven days were affected by the gain of the U.S. dollar, increasing U.S. oil inventory, China’s plan for an economic stimulus, and the ongoing military conflict between Russia and the Ukraine.

Gasolines increased by 1.6-2.5% while oils went up 0.6-3.1% in the period. RON95 is now sold at $86 per barrel and diesel $92.2.
