Gasoline prices fell slightly Thursday afternoon, heading toward a three-year low they reached last month.

The popular fuel RON95 dropped 3.46% to VND19,800 (US$0.80) per liter.

Biofuel E5 RON92 fell 3.92% to VND18,850.

Diesel declined by 0.57% to VND17,400.

Regulators said that prices in the last seven days were affected by rising tension in the Middle East, increasing U.S. crude oil inventory, and ongoing Russia-Ukraine military conflict.

In the last seven days, fuel prices have fallen by 4.4-5.4% and oils have dropped 0.1-3%. RON95 is now at $81.9 per barrel and diesel at $83.8.
