Gasoline and diesel prices went up Thursday afternoon, reaching the highest since Nov. 7.

The popular fuel RON95 rose 1.61% to VND20,850 (US$0.82) per liter. E5 RON92 gained 2.59% to VND19,840. Diesel increased by 1.46% to VND18,770.

Fuel prices in the last seven days were affected by the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hezbollah, increasing fuel reserve in the U.S., and OPEC+ continuing discussion about suspending a plan to pump up oil production.

Gasolines rose 2.1-3.6% in the period, and oils added 0.9-1.4%.

RON95 is now at $85.4 per barrel and diesel $89.7.
