One of South Korea's 'most coveted bachelors' dates one woman, fathers child with another

Actor Jung Woo Sung, known as one of "the most coveted bachelors" in South Korea, is embroiled in controversy over accusations of infidelity and fathering a child with another woman while dating someone else.

Jung has been in a relationship with a non-famous individual for over a year, having introduced her to his inner circle and even participating in a double date with actor Lee Jung Jae and his partner Im Se Ryung, according to MK.

However, it came as a surprise to his girlfriend when she discovered that Jung had fathered a child with model Moon Gabi.

Jung's agency, Artist Company said: "This issue is private for the artist, and we are unable to provide specifics. We request your understanding." Additionally, the agency appealed to fans to refrain from undue conjecture regarding Jung's personal affairs.

This revelation has elicited mixed responses from the public. Some reproach Jung for not meeting his responsibilities as a father and betraying his girlfriend, while others view his late entry into fatherhood at age 51 as a positive development.

The story gained traction when Dispatch reported that Moon had given birth to Jung's son, who is now eight months old. They met at a social gathering in 2022, and Moon disclosed her pregnancy to Jung in June 2023. Following the report, Artist Company confirmed the news to Edaily. A representative stated: "He learned about the pregnancy last year and is committed to protecting this precious life. As a father, he will provide full support."

Jung, born in 1973, is a celebrated actor in Asian cinema, known for films like "Beat", "Sad Movie", "Daisy", and "The Good, the Bad, the Weird".

Known as the "Perfect Gentleman," Jung ranked fourth on Entertainment Weekly’s 2020 list of South Korea’s "Most Coveted Bachelors."

Jung's only known public relationship was with actress Lee Ji Ah in 2011, but it ended after details of Lee's past marriage to K-pop icon Seo Taiji became public.

Moon, born in 1989, gained fame as a model and TV personality, appearing on shows like "Attractive TV", "Get It Beauty", and "Law of the Jungle".
