Gasoline prices on Thursday fell to the lowest since December last year, having declined for five consecutive weeks.

The popular fuel RON95 dropped 4.12% from a week ago to VND21,670 ($0.86) per liter.

E5 RON92 fell 4.16% to VND20,710. Diesel decreased by 3.68% to VND19,140.

Regulators said that fuel prices changed in the last seven days due to declining U.S. oil inventory, falling China’s demand, and continued political tension in the Middle East.

Gasolines have fallen by 4.8-5.2% and oils have dropped by 3.7-5.9% in the period. RON95 is now at $89.7 per barrel and diesel at $91.9.
