Gasoline and diesel prices in Vietnam fell slightly Thursday and remained at the low-end of this year’s range.

The popular fuel RON95 fell 0.33% to VND20,890 (US$0.82) per liter.

Biofuel E5 RON92 declined by 0.20% to VND19,690.

Diesel dropped 1.47% to VND18,050.

Regulators said that fuel prices in the last seven days were affected by rising tension in the Middle East and increasing crude oil inventory in the U.S.

Gasolines fell 1.6-1.7% in the period while oils dropped 1.7-3%. RON95 and diesel are now priced at $85.9 per barrel.
