Gasoline prices on Thursday dropped to the lowest since mid-January while those of diesel gained little.

The popular fuel RON95 fell 1.74% to VND23,130 ($0.91) per liter, lowest since Jan. 18. Biofuel E5 RON92 dropped 2.25% to VND22,110.

Diesel gained 0.15% to VND19,870.

Regulators said that in the last seven days declining U.S. inventory and falling U.S. dollar have pushed up demand for fuel.

Globally gasoline prices rose 2.3-3.1% while oils gained 0.1-1.6%.
