Asia's most beautiful island among most searched destinations by Vietnamese travelers for April 30 holiday

Indonesia's Bali, named Asia's most beautiful island, was one of 10 most searched outbound destinations by Vietnamese travelers during the five-day holidays to celebrate Reunification Day-Labor Day (April 30- May 1), Agoda says.

The digital travel platform revealed interest in international travel grew from 26% to 46% year-on-year during this holiday period based on its accommodation search data with check-in dates between April 26 and May 4, 2025.

With a blend of Hindu-Balinese traditions, Bali has long been renowned for its rich cultural heritage, including intricate dances, captivating rituals, and ancient temples.

Bali authorities have recently pledged to enhance safety for foreign tourists by introducing a series of new guidelines aimed at curbing inappropriate behavior.

Bali was named Asia's most beautiful island at this year's annual Reader's Choice Awards by DestinAsian magazine.

In October last year, the island was honored with the same recognition by readers of Condé Nast Traveler in its Readers' Choice Awards.

Bali welcomed 6.3 million international visitors in 2024, surpassing pre-pandemic levels. This year it aims to attract 6.5 million tourists.

Bangkok was the most searched destination during the upcoming holidays, followed by Singapore.
