Vietcombank Remittance anticipates and responds to remittance inflows by analyzing labor export markets and adapting strategies, catering to Vietnamese export workers' needs and facilitating efficient fund transfers.

According to the Vietnam Department of Labour’s latest report, the estimated number of Vietnamese labor export workers in 2023 was around 155,000, an increase of 8.55% compared to 2022 and the highest number to date.

According to the same report, approximately 120,000 to 143,000 Vietnamese workers go abroad for work each year.

The remittances sent by these workers amount to around US$3.5–4 billion, contributing greatly to Vietnam’s socioeconomic development.

With the global economy in a downturn, coupled with high inflation and ongoing political tensions, remittance inflows to Vietnam have continued to endure and even increased compared to 2022.

According to the State Bank of Vietnam, the remittance volume to Vietnam in 2023 is estimated to increase by 25–30% compared to 2022.

The remittance report from the State Bank of Vietnam's branch in Ho Chi Minh City indicates that the remittance volume flowing into the city maintaineda strong growth rate in 2023, reaching nearly US$9.5 billion in total.

This is a 43.3% increase compared to 2022, the highest growth rate in the past 10 years, accounting for over 50% of the country's total remittance volume.

Vietcombank Remittance has been able to anticipate and respond to the increasing remittance inflows by analyzing the labor export market and adapting its strategies accordingly.

This proactive approach has allowed Vietcombank Remittance to cater to the needs of Vietnamese export labor workers and facilitate an efficient transfer of funds back to Vietnam.

In September 2023, the company seized the initiative to enhance its partnership with South Korean counterparts by organizing the Korea Partners Conference 2023.

This event marked a crucial milestone, highlighting the unity and close collaboration between Vietcombank Remittance and its South Korean partners, establishing a strong and reliable connection that will not only bring significant economic benefits but also contribute to enhancing the customer experience.
