Its VF 3 model topped the market with sales of over 23,000 units, or 28% of the 83,100 small CUVs sold in the country.
VF 5 was second with 21,800 vehicles. VF 6 was third with 8,500 cars.

Two Toyota models also made it to the top 10 list, with the Yaris Cross ranking fourth (5,400 vehicles) and Corolla Cross in sixth place (3,600).
Mitsubishi Xforce was in fifth position with sales of 4,500 cars. Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda HR-V, and Kia Sonet made up the rest of the list.
Kia, which led the small CUV market in 2023–2024 with its Sonet and Seltos models, has seen its dominance wane due to competition from Japanese brands and the growing popularity of affordable electric vehicles.
It sold just over 5,000 CUVs during the half for a 6.1% share. Mitsubishi and Hyundai were closely matched with just over 5% each. Honda and Mazda accounted for 3% each.
