U.S. coffee chain Starbucks on Friday opened its Reserve Mixology store in Hanoi, the first outlet in Vietnam which serves both coffee and cocktail.

The store, located in the downtown district of Hoan Kiem, is described as a fusion of refined mixology art and luxurious French architectural space, Starbucks Vietnam said in a social media post.

Signature drinks, along with unique cocktails based on premium coffee and tea, will be served by Starbucks Coffee Masters, it added.

The Starbucks Reserve program began in 2010 to introduce exclusive drinks that it does not sell in regular stores. Globally, there are only a handful of these stores, including in Shanghai, Tokyo and Milan.

The newly-launched store is the second Reserve location in Hanoi.

The only Reserve location in HCMC was closed in August last year. A new store will reportedly be opened in District 1 in the first half this year.

After 11 years of operation in Vietnam, Starbucks now has around 125 stores.
