"In celebration of Hong Kong’s Olympic success, we’re proud to offer our winning home athletes at Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics a year of unlimited business class travel to any Cathay Pacific destinations, counting from their first trip, or one million miles," the Hong Kong-based airline said in a Facebook page.
"We hope this small gesture can encourage our athletes to continue to embrace challenges and make every move count."
Gold medalist fencers Cheung Ka-long and Vivian Kong Man-wai and bronze medalist swimmer Siobhan Haughey will be eligible for Cathay’s rewards.
The Cathay offer follows other perks given to the athletes, including cash rewards according to their medals, and free lifetime rides on the city’s railway network, SCMP reported.
Cheung, who defended his gold medal in Paris, was given HK$6 million (US$767,800) from the Hong Kong Jockey Club and HK$3 million from Lam Tai Fai College.
Rail operator MTR Corporation also offers all Hong Kong medalists lifetime tickets free-of-charge.
