The Vietnamese singer’s participation in the event was confirmed by her entourage, revealing that she will share the stage with several prominent local artists. These include singers Ella Chen and Li Ronghao, as well as actors Wang Yibo, Yang Zi, and Yu Shuxin.

The event, scheduled for Dec. 31, is highly anticipated in China and several Asian countries, consistently leading in ratings with its array of well-known celebrities and impressive performances.

Chi Pu, 30, is an actress and pop singer. She was included in Forbes’ list of the Asia Pacific’s 100 Most Influential Digital Stars in 2020.

Her fame in China rose after she appeared earlier this year on "Sisters Who Make Waves," a popular local reality show, which also marked her debut in the Chinese entertainment industry. Her performances throughout the show captivated the local audiences, earning her sixth place in the competition that featured numerous stars.

She has since been called a "cultural bridge between China and Vietnam in the new era" by the Chinese media.
