In the latest episode of Running Man that aired on broadcaster SBS Sunday, Shin danced to "See Tinh" (See Love). This is not the first time that Shin danced to the song. During a program broadcasted on MBC in mid-March, Shin also played "See Tinh" in the car and vibed to the rhythm.
Thanks to Shin, "See Tinh" has appeared on two out of the top three national broadcasters in South Korea.
With the appearance on Running Man, "See Tinh" is expected to extend its virality in South Korea. Running Man is one of the oldest and most famous TV shows in South Korea, with 649 episodes aired. It focuses on the urban activities of the host and celebrity guests.
Before Shin, several other South Korean artists and celebrities also showed their love for the Vietnamese song, such as volleyball players Lee De-hyeon and Kim Yeon-koung, K-pop boyband winner Lee-Seung-hoon, and Shindong of Super Junior.
The song also went viral in other countries when Chinese actress Zhu Xudan and Taiwanese pop star Jolin Tsai danced to the song earlier this year.
Shin Ye-eun, 25, first rose to fame with her role in the web series "A-Teen" and its sequel "A-Teen 2" (2018-2019). She made her name starring in the TV series "He Is Psychometric," "Welcome," "More Than Friends," and most recently the trending TV series "The Glory" on Netflix.
"See Tinh" is the second single from Hoang Thuy Linh’s fourth studio album "LINK," which was released in February 2022. The music for this dance-pop anthem was inspired by the culture of the Mekong Delta region.
