According to Sinchew, in the video uploaded to Ho’s Instagram account, Dou is seen holding his wife in his arms before kissing her. The adorable interaction attracted attention from the public, with many leaving their comments complimenting how the two "match each other" and have a "happy relationship, unlike what the rumors say."
Speculations about the couple encountering problems after getting married started spreading when Ho refused to hold Dou’s hand when the couple appeared together in a public event.
The couple was even rumored to have agreed on the terms and conditions of their divorce, making Ho’s mother mad at Dou for treating her daughter badly after the two’s multi-million-dollar wedding in Apr. this year. Allegations were reinforced when Ho attended musician Wilber Pan’s Bali wedding without Dou.
The couple has never publicly responded to the rumors.
Ho, 32, is the daughter of her father’ third wife Ina Chan. Her father was renowned for his casino empire, and Forbes estimated her mother’s net worth at around $1 billion.
Dou, 35, is a renowned actor. His debut movie was "Under the Hawthorn Tree," directed by legendary Chinese auteur Zhang Yimou, while his other works include "Dangerous Liaisons," as well as "Time To Love" and "Princess Agents."
