Beauty queen meets South Korean star at Busan International Film Festival

The Vietnamese beauty queen said she had been following Lim for a long time and had watched many of Lim’s works, including the "The Glory" broadcast earlier this year.

She also said she was impressed with Lim’s acting.

Talking about her participation in the international film festival, Tien said: "This is a chance for me to gain knowledge and confidence, which will be useful for my future film projects."

She reportedly completed her acting course recently and received acclaim from her mentors.

Tien, 24, was crowned the 2021 Miss Grand International in Bangkok, making her the first Vietnamese to win the beauty pageant. After the contest, she became known for her charity projects and other volunteer activities.

She attended the 2023 Busan International Film Festival as a member of the entourage of the Vietnamese variety show "Let’s Feast Vietnam" which also won the festival’s Best Reality & Variety award.

Taking place on October 4-13, the 2023 Busan International Film Festival has garnered worldwide attention for its quality, with a total of 209 projects from 69 countries competing in various categories.
