Vietnam beat Myanmar, advance to AFF Cup semifinal as group's top team

Vietnam topped Group B with a 3-0 victory against Myanmar and will face Indonesia in the AFF Cup semifinal.

    Young striker Chau Ngoc Quang scored a beauty with a screamer from outside the box, from a counter-attack. Vietnam also made another substitution right after that.

Vietnam have won two, drew one and conceded none at the group stage of the 2022 AFF Cup so far, while Myanmar have already been eliminated.

A win would help Vietnam secure the top spot of group B and advance to the semifinals, where they will play Indonesia.
