Vietnam beat Malaysia 4-1 to enter AFF U23 Championship final

Xuan Tien's brace and goals by Hong Phuc and Quoc Viet earned Vietnam a big win against Malaysia in the AFF U23 Championship semifinal Thursday.

Both Vietnam and Malaysia topped their groups before entering the semifinals of the 2023 AFF U23 Championship with two wins.

Vietnam are the defending champions, beating Thailand 1-0 in the final last year.

Three months ago the two teams played in the group stages of the SEA Games, with Vietnam winning.
