    Second half begins

Vietnam made three substitutions after the break. Among the players that came on are midfielder Nguyen Hai Huy, whose name was chanted by the fans, since Lach Tray is the home ground of his current club Hai Phong FC.

Despite being a friendly, this game is still highly anticipated because it's the first game of Vietnam national football team with French coach Philippe Troussier, who arrived in February.

For Hong Kong, this is also a chance for the team to end their goal drought after nine games without scoring, since June last year.
