HCMC earmarks $1.1 mln for workers in non-essential businesses hit by Covid-19

The HCMC government has approved a proposal by labor authorities to pay unemployment benefits worth VND27 billion ($1.16 million) to workers in "non-essential" sectors affected by Covid-19.
