Vietnam held to goalless draw by defensive Indonesia

Vietnam's third game at the 2020 AFF Championships, against Indonesia, ended 0-0.

Neither side could find the breakthrough in the tight and frantic first 45 minutes. Vietnam had more of the ball but struggled to find the net, while Indonesia stayed back on defense.

Both teams made substitutions in the second half to improve their offense.

Vietnam continued to create chances after chances but they lacked a bit of accuracy.

Indonesia played in low blocks and didn't hesitate to make hard tackles, while Vietnam found it difficult to crack through their thick defense.

Eventually two teams settled for a draw.

Vietnam's last game in the group stage will be against Cambodia on Sunday.
