For the pre-wedding photoshoot amid snowfall in France earlier this year, Midu donned a mermaid-style dress designed by Le Thanh Hoa.
The actress and her fiancé, businessman Minh Dat—son of Tran Duy Hy, Chairman and General Director of Duy Tan Plastics Manufacturing Corporation—planned to hold their wedding ceremony on June 29 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The gown is crafted from premium lace and features intricate hand-embellished techniques that create a sparkling effect.
The gown also includes a detachable wide flare tail, adding charm to the bridal look. Hoa accentuated the waist with a belt, which enhances the wearer's silhouette.
The gown fits closely to the body, highlighting Midu’s figure, while its bodice and heart-shaped neckline gracefully reveal the collarbones.
Midu donned a blazer dress made from taffeta fabric, complemented by a lace chiffon scarf. The knee-length, loose-fitting attire highlighted her slender legs.
Midu complemented the dress with a necklace and earrings. She expressed her satisfaction with the gown, noting that it perfectly aligned with the feminine and gentle style she has maintained throughout her 15-year career in the entertainment industry.
At the party, Midu also wore a short dress that highlighted her slender shoulders and collarbones.
Born Dang Thi My Dung, Midu, 35, has established herself as a model and actress. Her most celebrated works include the TV series "Nhung Thien Than Ao Trang" (Angels in White Dresses) and the film "Thien Menh Anh Hung" (Blood Letter), which was directed by Vietnamese-born director Victor Vu.
Besides her career in the entertainment industry, she is also known as a lecturer and entrepreneur.
Dat, 34, completed his education in the U.S., earning a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Management from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California.
He assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at a subsidiary of Duy Tan in the U.S.
