A fan of Tien documented the numerous Dior bags she used during her two-year collaboration with the brand. Some bags were provided for promotional events, while others were given to Tien as gifts.

The beauty queen was named a “Friend of the House” by Dior in March.

At the Dior show during this year’s Paris Fashion Week on March 4, Tien was seen carrying a limited-edition Lady Dior Bag, one of the brand’s latest releases, priced at US$9,100. This bag is the most expensive Dior item Tien has ever used.

Her appearance at the event went viral, generating an estimated media value of US$1.7 million, according to a report from Launchmetrics, a company specializing in tools for the Fashion, Lifestyle, and Beauty sectors.

Tien also displayed her schoolgirl-inspired style with the Diorstar Hobo Bag, priced at US$2,450.

At 26, Tien made history as the first Vietnamese contestant to win the Miss Grand International title. However, she has been banned from leaving Vietnam between March 15 and May 15 for an investigation related to the alleged false advertising of Kera Supergreens Gummies, a fiber supplement.

Tien announced her collaboration with influencers Pham Quang Linh and Nguyen Thi Thai Hang to promote Kera Supergreens Gummies in Dec. 2024. She shared the product on her Facebook page, claiming that “a gummy contains a dish’s worth of vegetables,” positioning it as a nutritious snack for all ages.

However, after a customer tested the product at the Quality Assurance and Testing Center 2 and found discrepancies between the advertised and actual ingredients—specifically, the 30-gummy box contained only 0.51 grams of fiber, much less than advertised—public backlash followed. In response, Tien removed the related posts from her social media.

At the request of the Ministry of Health’s Food Safety Department, the Ho Chi Minh City Food Safety Department later conducted a product test for Kera Supergreens Gummies. The test confirmed that while the sugar, protein, fat, and energy content matched the product’s official self-declaration, the packaging failed to disclose the fiber content, despite the product being marketed as a fiber supplement. Authorities concluded that the product was “counterfeit.”

Following the investigation, Tien, Linh, and Hang were summoned for questioning. All three admitted to providing misleading information about the product. Linh and Hang were each fined VND140 million for false advertising, while Tien was fined VND25 million for not disclosing that her social media posts about the product were sponsored, violating advertising regulations.

Following the controversy, Dior and Tommy Hilfiger removed Tien’s photos from their social media accounts.
