Early this year, the pair traveled to France to participate in the Lyon French Open dance competition. They visited famous landmarks in the town of Vienne in monochrome outfits.
In recent years, Khanh Thi has gravitated towards feminine dresses. She was spotted many times strolling the street with her husband in pink chiffon gowns, while Phan Hien prefers a neater style, with slim-fit clothes in neutral colors.
During the Lunar New Year holiday, the couple dressed in matching colors. Khanh Thi opted for a babydoll dress that allowed her comfort and evoked a youthful vibe. Phan Hien wore a shirt and khaki pants along with a pair of Gucci sandals.
Strolling around the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long in Hanoi, the duo wore matching patterns in yellow and white, complimented by retro-style sunglasses.
At an event in 2021, the pair was dressed in elegant black and white outfits. Khanh Thi accentuated her curves by wearing a gown designed by Luu Ngoc Kim Khanh while Phan Hien looked dashing in a suit and loafers.
Thi, 42, has been dubbed Vietnam's dancesport queen by the media for her great dancing skills and contributions to the country’s dance scene in the 2000s. She has won many awards throughout her career, including two gold medals when performing with Hien at the 2009 Asian Indoor Games.
Hien, 31, was one of the many students she taught and later her dance partner. He won three gold medals in dancesport at the 31st SEA Games held in Hanoi earlier last year.
