Miss Intercontinental 2022 and Miss World Vietnam 2022 runner-up Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc donned an outfit made by designer Thach Linh at the show in Hoa Lu, the capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1009, on Saturday night.
Coming from Ninh Binh, Linh made the outfit with inspirations from Ninh Binh's iconic symbols, namely Trang An landscape complex and Hoa Lu ancient town. The outfit was then gifted to Ninh Binh's authorities by the designer.
Ngoc and other models participating in the show cat walked on a stone bridge crossing Ky Lan Lake.
The show was part of a project aimed at promoting Ninh Binh's culture and tourism, an idea of Linh and local authorities.
Other designers who had their creations showcased in the show include Minh Cong, Kien Vu, Song Toan, Hung Bao, and Ivan Tran.
Linh also brought his collection "Roi Khoi Man Suong" (Coming Out of the Mist) to the show, with Miss Vietnam 2020 Do Thi Ha showcasing one of the looks from the collection.
Designer Ivan Tran introduced his collection “Hoa Tren Nuoc” (Flowers on the Water) at the show. Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 Le Hoang Phuong wearing a fit from the collection.
Designer Minh Cong brought his collection "Kinh Ky" (The Capital) to the show, with Miss World Vietnam 2019 Luong Thuy Linh wearing one of his creations.
Cong sophisticatedly combines traditional and modern elements in the design by joining an upper part which represents a mixture of a halter top and a corset with a bottom wide skirt. He completed the look with a Vietnamese traditional kerchief.
Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H'hen Nie showcased a red cut-out dress belonging to designer Kien Vu's “Nguyet Hoi” (Memories Recalled with the Moon) collection.
According to the designer, the main theme behind his collection is how the moon observes a person’s life journey.
Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 runner-up Huynh Pham Thuy Tien was another model showcasing the collection’s outfits.
Miss World Vietnam 2022 runner-up Nguyen Phuong Nhi wore a velvet dress with an applique neck as its highlight, belonging to designer Song Toan’s “Nhung Lua” (Velvet and Silk) collection.
