Talking about the shoot concept, Tan’s wife Mi Dang said: “Pho is not only a traditional dish, but also a representation of the effort of Tan’s parents.”
“The dish also has a special link to our relationship.”
Mi recalled when she was in secondary school, her parents often took her to the pho shop at 10 Ly Quoc Su after her English classes. Little did she know she would marry the son of the store’s owner.
It took the couple four hours to complete the shoot, which has been praised for being adorable and unique.
Mi said she was satisfied with the setting and the color theme of the shoots, which create the vibe she and Tan expected.
The couple’s outfits are another thing that Mi appreciates.
Mi dons a brocade ao dai, with hand-attached flower embellishments. Meanwhile, Tan’s fit is a teal taffeta ao dai.
Both fits were created by designer Ha Cuc.
