The wedding was held in Binh Duong Feb 23-25. Bride Trang Pham and her groom Tan Loc received the 230 taels of gold from their parents, alongside several other valuable assets. The valuable wedding gifts garnered massive attention on social media in Vietnam.
The bride hired a wedding decoration crew to deck out the ocean-themed wedding.
It took the crew three days to design the concept and five days to complete the decorations, employing the work of more than 100 people on the 400 square-meter space.
The crew said the difficult part was dealing with wind for the outdoor event and making sure the flower gate and photobooth didn’t tip over.
The primary colors of the wedding were white and blue, which are the bride’s favorite colors. The flowers used for the wedding’s “flower forest” included Ohara roses, hortensias, baby flowers, moth orchids, and tulips.
The entrance to the main hall was decorated with coral figures, which reminded the guests of the ocean.
The ceiling decors was also 3D-printed. The large amount of work required optimal technical techniques by the crew.
The bride also invested big in her wedding dress created by local designer Tra Linh. The bespoke offering was designed and customized as a unique piece for Trang only. It cost VND150 million ($6,324). The dress used high-end metallic tulle materials emboldened with 10,000 crystals imported from the Czech Republic.
Designer Tra Linh said her team of 10 people worked for hundreds of hours to create the dress. The chest and sleeves were elaborately studded with luxurious crystals.
The bride's second dress is worth VND140 million. It’s studded with more than 1,000 Czech crystals, which sparkled like stars in the night sky.
