Lieutenant Le Viet Quoc Vu, 29, secretary of the Youth Union of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Department in Thua Thien-Hue Provincial Police and his fiancée Le Thi Thanh Ha, 28, a primary school teacher in Hue are set to marry next month.
During the photo shoot, which took place on March 26, Vu received great support from his boss and colleagues who helped him with the props such as fire trucks, hoses and ladders. People in his unit posed in the background to give the photos an authentic look.
"The people who support me are all members of my unit, so when I asked for help, everyone was willing to give me a hand with this firefighter themed photoshoot," Vu said.
"I want the most special moment in my life to be with my beloved wife, in the colors of a firefighter suit," he added.
"Ha is an absolutely adorable woman who always cares about her family. Although our jobs are different, we always try to understand each other," Vu said.
The bride-to-be said that the photos were meaningful to them both.
"Vu really knows how to care for me. I’m really proud to be his wife. He’s a great firefighter. This might not be a romantic and beautiful location for wedding photos, but it has a special meaning for us," she said.
The photo album was done over an afternoon and two hours in the evening.
"As a firefighter, I didn’t take much time for this. I had a thorough discussion with the photographers before the shoot, so they understood what we wanted," Vu said.
