Under the theme "Visit Vietnam: Beloved Destinations – Extraordinary Experiences," Sun Group made its debut at the Seoul International Travel Fair (SITF) 2026, one of South Korea's largest travel exhibitions. Its booth showcased destinations that have become key pillars of Vietnam's tourism industry, including Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Sa Pa, and Ha Long, introducing Korean visitors to the country's diverse travel offerings.
Throughout the June 4-7 fair, the Sun Group booth attracted a steady stream of visitors interested in learning more about the company's tourism offerings through a range of activities. These included B2B and B2C networking sessions, customer consultations, presentations on tourism, hospitality and aviation products, and interactive programs for attendees.
The event also provided Sun Group with an opportunity to engage with South Korean tourism partners, travel agencies and distributors, explore potential areas of cooperation, and promote Vietnam as a destination for international travelers.
Phu Quoc was among the destinations attracting the strongest interest from visitors at the fair. Organizers said the combination of destination promotion and aviation-related incentives presented at the booth is expected to encourage more South Korean travelers to consider the island for future holidays.
The island is also entering a new phase of tourism development, with a series of large-scale projects, tourism products and visitor experiences being introduced ahead of Vietnam's hosting of APEC 2027.
"I visited Da Nang several years ago, but this is the first time I've learned about many of Sun Group's other tourism offerings," said Lee Jung Ahn, 30, from Seoul, after visiting the booth. "The information about Phu Quoc and its upcoming developments has made me interested in returning to Vietnam in the near future.
The booth has attracted strong interest from both visitors and travel industry representatives in South Korea, with large numbers of attendees stopping to explore its destinations, tourism products and promotional activities. The turnout reflects the continued popularity of Vietnam among South Korean travelers.
Visitors to the booth can receive a 20% discount code on base fares when booking tickets with Sun PhuQuoc Airways through the airline's website or mobile application. The promotion is available in South Korea for one-way and round-trip flights between South Korea and Phu Quoc.
A total of 200 promotional codes are being offered for economy-class tickets on flights operating between June 15 and Oct. 24, 2026, excluding peak travel periods specified by the airline.
In addition to the airfare promotion, visitors can take part in interactive activities at the booth for opportunities to receive a range of prizes and souvenirs. These include complimentary round-trip tickets on the Seoul (ICN)-Phu Quoc (PQC) route, as well as resort vouchers and other gifts from properties within Sun Group's hospitality portfolio.
