On Monday the FLC Albatross yacht, bought in 2018 for VND44 billion ($1.78 million), anchored at a wharf in the Saigon River.
The vessel has a length of nearly 22 m.
Vo Minh Thanh, 50, who has been its captain for five years, said the yacht has a top speed of 35 knots.
Next to the cockpit is a galley and a wine cabinet.
The yacht can carry a maximum of 12 people and can be rented for VND20 million for two hours.
The yacht has four staterooms on the middle and lower decks.
The largest is more than 20 square meters and has a wardrobe, a mini-fridge, a bathroom and a TV.
The crew uses canvas covers to keep the sun out of the sofas and equipment glass cleaners.
"I've been with the yacht since it was shipped," Thanh said.
There is a radar for navigation and sonar for detecting fish.
There is space for passengers to sit and fish.
FLC Albatross, built in 2017 in Poland, was seized by lender BIDV recently after FLC failed to repay a loan.
Its auction will be held on November 4 and bidders must put down a deposit of VND3.57 billion, or 10% of the reverse price.
