Bill Gates and his girlfriend arrived in Da Nang this week in the American billionaire’s US$70-million private jet Gulfstream G650ER that can accommodate a maximum of 17 people in the lap of luxury.

According to VnExpress sources, the couple landed at Da Nang International Airport on the private aircraft manufactured by the American company Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation.

The jet has a maximum capacity of 17 sitting passengers or 6-8 sleeping passengers.

Tables and chairs can be customized to serve any kind of meeting, party or function.

The plane also boasts Ka-band wifi and fast global internet.

Launched in 2014, the Gulfstream G650ER is one of the world's fastest and largest commercial aircraft with prices starting at $70 million.

He is staying at a 5-star resort in Son Tra District and expected to be touring the neighboring historic town of Hoi An on Tuesday.
