Every evening at 7:45 p.m., Sunset Town draws a large crowd of tourists to experience the Symphony of the Sea show, featuring a blend of jet ski and flyboard performances, a 20-minute fireworks display, and live music.
The show featured over 400 fireworks and 40 special effects, including water fireworks, flares, and kite fireworks. It marked the first time water fireworks—a unique type that only explode when they come into contact with a water curtain—were used in a show in Vietnam, creating the effect of fireworks "erupting" from the ocean floor and illuminating the sky above the southern Pearl Island.
A standout feature of the show is the coordination of 24 world-class Flyboard and Jetski athletes. Dressed in distinctive LED costumes that shine like stars in the night sky, they carry firework wings, leaving a trail of brilliant light as they perform stunts on the water.
Jetskis race at high speed amidst the colorful lights of fireworks and energetic music, creating a dynamic performance that resembles moving fields of light, captivating all who watch.
The Kiss Bridge stretching out in the middle of the ocean will be an ideal photoshooting spot when the show takes place.
The show also introduces a new experience to Phu Quoc: the dinner show, where visitors can enjoy their meal while watching the performance from the beachside restaurant, Sun Bavaria Bistro. Guests can savor German craft beer and fine cuisine while enjoying the spectacle of artists on the water, sparkling fireworks, and captivating laser light displays.
On this occasion, the restaurant is offering a range of dinner show packages between 6-8 p.m. For VND750,000 (US$29.53) per person, guests can enjoy a first-floor seat that includes show tickets, a meal, and 500 ml of beer. For VND500,000 (US$19.69) per person, visitors can choose a second-floor seat with show tickets, snacks, and 500 ml of beer.
Symphony of the Sea also weaves elements of Vietnamese culture into its performance. The festival flag displayed alongside the opening fireworks and the soothing sound of the flute playing "Mother Loves Child" during the kite fireworks sequence moved many in the audience.
Haeun, a Korean tourist, shared, "It’s so impressive. I’ve never seen a performance like this. This will definitely be my most unforgettable memory in Phu Quoc."
According to Sun Group, Symphony of the Sea is not just a show, but a symbol of creativity and sophistication in Phu Quoc, helping to transform Sunset Town into a true entertainment destination.
"Alongside other attractions, such as the Awaken Sea show at sunset and the vibrant culinary offerings at Sun Bavaria Bistro, this creates the perfect setting for your year-end vacation," a representative said.
