The skylight provides natural light for the underground station that lies in front of the city's iconic Ben Thanh Market.

The skylight made of glass to avoid obstructing the view of the market.

The station will be 32 meters below ground and have four stories. The most important of line No.1’s three underground stations, it will also serve as a transfer station linking with future lines 2, 3 and 4.

The station is almost complete and builders are now adding the finishing touches.
